B. Purchase of lands
The area of the Regional Park mainly develops along the Sile River, with a maximum width of 20 km.
The natural areas are therefore limited in their dimensions and they risk not to be used for agricultural and urbanization purposes any longer (if not very productive). The project provides the purchase of some areas both in the upper and in the lower course (situated upstream and downstream from Treviso's urban center) in order to safeguard them, and they will be the object of environmental restoration actions within the project.
